Momax Marble & Granite was founded in 1996 by Hector and Gloria Cornejo — a husband-and-wife team with a shared vision for bringing exceptional stone craftsmanship to Indiana. The name Momax comes from a small town in Mexico where Hector's family is from, and that heritage of hard work and pride in craft has been woven into the business ever since.
What began as a single location has grown into a full-service commercial and residential design center with two Indiana showrooms — Merrillville and Lafayette — serving homeowners, designers, contractors, and builders across Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan.
We're still family-owned and operated. The same values that drove Hector and Gloria in 1996 drive every project we take on today.
